I have an extensive background in graphic design and illustration. After earning my B.F.A. in Communication Design from Kutztown University, I went to work in the "real world" focusing primarily in packaging and corporate identity/branding where I developed award winning designs for numerous Fortune 500 & 1000 companies and international clients. In 2005, I earned my M.F.A. in Advertising Design from Marywood University and left industry to teach full time. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at my alma mater, Kutztown University. I own my own business, hence this site, and continue to stay active in the design and illustration field. Blah, blah, blah. So now the good stuff. Who am I really? I am all of those things above and more. I hate being bored and relish a good challenge. I love design, well kerned typography and creating fun art for greeting cards and gift bags. Some additional tidbits about me, which, may be the reason you're here from the home page. I make attempts to write novels (the second one is still in draft form). I do photography for myself and clients. I ride a motorcycle - a Honda Shadow A.C.E. 1100. I also enjoy doodling, reading mysteries, keeping up on all things Mac, playing with my pups and shoe shopping (I am a girl, after all, I have needs). |
